Henna body art (or mehndi) is a 9000 year old fad that is popular worldwide especially in the countries where it originated, such as Morocco and India. Traditionally used to celebrate any special event (like weddings, birth of a baby etc.) henna is a blessing for all who receive it.

When applied to the skin, henna designs are a rich reddish brown that lasts about 1-3 weeks. Henna is applied to the skin as a paste which is made from the leaves of the henna plant. Kenzi uses only natural ingredients, never any toxic dyes (such as "black henna" or PPD). Clients love the smell of the essential oils used in the paste and leave feeling pampered and beautified.

Any event is made richer with henna body art. Guests at a baby or bridal shower love the treat of getting hennaed and have a beautiful design that stays with them for several weeks to remind them of the wonderful time they had at the party. Indian brides have their hands and feet elaborately hennaed for their weddings, creating a gorgeous mosaic of design when further adorned with jewelry and embroidered wedding clothes.
