Providing complete homebirth services, GYN, family planning and common adult health. Homebirth: I provide complete Prenatal Care and Education, Laboratory Testing, Water Birth, "Birthrite" Birthing Stool, Herbs, Newborn Care, Breastfeeding Support, and Postpartum Care. Woman's Health: Annual Exams, Family Planning (all methods), Infection Screening and Treatment, Alternative Treatment for PMS. Common Adult Health For Both Men and Women: Upper Respiratory Infections, Urinary Track Infections (UTI), Ear Infections, Eye infections, Hypothyroid Treatment, Gastro/Intestinal Problems, Weight Loss, Lab Work and Refills on Maintenance Medication. Phone or E-Mail Consultation: Labs and medication/or alternative treatments can be ordered based on your symptoms. This service is for established clients only and only if I believe an exam is not required.

Multidisciplined holistic energy work. Using elements of Shamanism, Acupressure, Reiki, EFT and adding the use of herbal tincture's and essential oils I believe I have developed one of the most powerful and healing energy experiences available today.
Basic Session: This is the best option for most people. The body, mind and spirit are cleansed of negative energy thoughts and emotions then balanced and aligned. Anxiety, stress, some personal trauma and minor physical ailments can be resolved with basic sessions. A session last approximately one hour.
Advanced Session: This option is appropriate for people who are having larger issues They should also have completed at least one basic session as this can do more than many people expect, as well as it is an important learning experience in how to relax and be open to treatment and allowing yourself to heal. An Advanced Session starts with a Basic Session, then I locate the areas in the body where these traumas have taken root. Through highly focused energy, guided prayer, moxibustion, acupressure and other tools available to me I work directly on these areas to disperse and alleviate trauma. An Advanced Session will take in excess of two hours.
Pregnancy Package: Prepay for three Basic Sessions, get a fourth free! One session for each trimester and one postpartum, a great way to remain balanced and feeling good throughout your pregnancy. If you feel that more sessions are required while pregnant they are available at a reduced rate.

I am a Certified Nurse-Midwife. After being a direct-entry midwife and RN since 1985, I decided about 7 yrs. ago to go on for the Nurse-Midwifery degree. I have been working in the childbearing field in some capacity since 1980. I am also, available to teach skills classes to midwifery students. I participate in homebirth meet-up/support groups and peer review among/with other homebirth nurse-midwives in NC. 
I am a alternative nurse midwife, serving North Al and Southern TN. I have a nice facility available on my property at the AL/TN stateline (just off 231/431) for those in AL. My practice is preventative, holistic, supportive, and I have local MD's available should the need for advice, collaboration, or intervention arise. I am experienced in hypnobirth, waterbirth, and provide breastfeeding support, use herbs and homeopathy, have some experience with applied kineisiology.
