Tricia Stroud earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Counseling in 1997. She is licensed by the Texas State Board of Health as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

She began her career interning under the supervision of the former President of the Texas State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. Her career has spanned private practice, mental health clinics and social/government agencies.

While as a private practice counselor in the Dallas area, she has worked with couples, families and individuals on a variety of issues.
