ANNOUNCING A NEW YOGA AND HEALING ARTS CENTER! The new Michelle Star Yoga and Healing Arts, LLC studio in Middleburg Heights. Opening April 1, 2010 will be a new studio with Yoga/Yoga Therapy group and individual classes, T'ai Chi Chih with Roseann Heinrich, Massage with Karen Staley, Reiki/healing touch/creativity classes for Kids (and adults), our corporate wellness division called Wellness Extraordinaire, the "Schools" division (I already teach classes at 4 of the Amherst schools and will expand into more schools), and will have retail items for sale either in store or online store. Our corporate wellness team is made up of our naturopathic doctor, holistic health consultant, massage therapist with chair and our Yoga and T'ai Chi Chih. We also have wonderful, highly qualified Yoga instructors for the schools.

There is a deck walk outside the rear of the studio where we will have bistro tables for tea, or if the weather is inclement, there is going to be a lounge area with lending library and tea. There also will be space underneath the studio windows landscaped for holding Yoga and other classes outdoors when possible. We also will utilize the nature reserve adjacent where we can hug a tree or otherwise tune into Nature, which will also be great for the kids' Reiki/Creativity classes. We will have regular events to educate, induce peace and enjoy laughter on many Saturday afternoons and our Reiki and Energy Healer shares will begin April 24 from 1 to 3 p.m. and continue at the same time each month: May 22, June 19, July 17, August 28 and September 25, so far.

The space is being "built out" as I write specifically for our Yoga and Healing space and will open at the location address: 7360 Engle Road, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130. Phone will remain the same. I utilize a therapy called Self-Acceptance Healing. This consists of an adaptation of Bioenergetics (in that it is less physically intrusive), Gestalt Therapy, Inner Child/Adult Therapy, Dream work. Vanda's realization originated from her understanding the continuity among breath awareness, the downward release of weight, and this natural, wavelike, non-forceful release of the spine. The safe and effortless movement integrates resiliance, and steadiness. Flexibility, strength, and general fitness improve.

Working with patience and letting go of ambition, we are rewarded with a sense of lightness, freedom, and expansion. The body quite naturally relaxes, and stress melts away.

Practicing in this way is incredibly good for stress relief. Thus our graduates make wonderful yoga teachers for students looking for relaxation and how to cope with stress.
