with Surrender

Surrender is a mystical form of worshipping the divine. Surrender opens the Sacred Heart. Love and wisdom can then flow in and out of the heart with ease. When you surrender, you are giving yourself to the divine, Radiant Love and the vibrant wisdom that dwell within. Surrender frees one from the feelings and thoughts that limit or stop the flow of good. The divine, radiant self will lead you to the truth and you will walk in union with love and peace. Suddenly, you begin to realize the truth about your situation. Through surrender, new life is born within, new ideas flow from you, and inspiration flows through you. Life becomes magical, and you embrace its miracles.

When you surrender, the gateway to resurrection opens. You begin to surrender the limited thoughts and painful feelings of the past. This leads to a clearer, freer energy of love. Truth can replace the limitation and the world can open in many new ways. A new life is born within. This is resurrection. The process of resurrection is ongoing. The opportunity to rise to the next level of energy and consciousness is always available. Once you begin to understand the concept and practice of surrender, life takes on sweetness and freshness, and a glow of love emanates from you.

The act of surrender is a commitment to your personal resurrection that begins to activate the fire of transformation within. The fire of transformation may start to burn within the body, and an intense energy may begin to move through you, bringing freedom from suffering, limitation and rage. Electrical energy may cause the body to jump, jerk, tingle and vibrate bringing the body into a state of surrender.

The gift of purification is yours when you worship the Divine through surrender. The cells are cleansed and they release the old structure of energy they have been holding. New energy begins to move through the body bringing you a sense of unconditional love and peace. The ego that wants to be loved, to control, to win and be right, will begin to evolve. As you surrender the need to control, the need to win, or the need to be right, you find perfect peace. Once the needs are surrendered, the way is made clear. You are resurrected, and experience clarity in mind, purity in emotions and energy. The gifts of love and joy will all be yours, as well as the dance of passion, the passion to live life and feel ecstasy. Your heart will open into gratitude and grace will fill your life.

The original Aramaic Lord's Prayer is a prayer of creation. Your life can be a demonstration of creating. The full flow of creation includes letting go or releasing. In the garden of life, everything has its season. The Aramaic word for letting go is Nethkadash. The second line in the original Aramaic Lord's Prayer is Nethkadash Shamak: I let go. Return me to wholeness. It is again a prayer of emptying out, of creating space within for more radiant life.

Going Within to Surrender

  • Take responsibility for the creation you are living and accept the feelings and thoughts of this creation. This can be like going into the haunted house where you are afraid of the darkness. House means consciousness, so when you go into the haunted house, you find your own goblins, your own ghosts. Once you have accepted them, you can release them. Surrender them to the Radiant Love within. This will dissolve the old creation.

  • If this feels too challenging for you, get assistance to enter your haunted house. The good news is, when you enter this haunted house and feel your pain, fear, terror, or any emotion that is there, it is for a brief time and then it is over. When you tap into the feelings of your darkness, surrender whatever pain you are experiencing in the moment. You are then free and the past has no hold on you. At times you may be afraid to feel this deeply, or afraid of getting lost in the haunted house. I strongly suggest that you work with someone who is familiar with the path out of the haunted house.

  • When you accept your feelings and the circumstances of your life, you become a partner with Sacred Life and your Sacred Self.

  • The fearful self can be very stubborn and strongly hold on to fear. Stubbornness comes from a lack of trust. As the fearful self surrenders, it is developing as a spiritual being. The state of surrender is a state of trusting the unknown love and joy that is your birthright.

In the state of surrender, you become humble. To be humble is to soften the heart. It is the humble, the soft of heart who will inherit the gifts of the mystical realms and know the sweetness of endless love and peace. The soft of heart will be sealed by God and enter the inner Queendom/Kingdom. Letting go and releasing are part of surrender. Emptying out the old is necessary to make room for the new. The devotee says:

Soften the Ground of My Being
    Soften my fears.
Soften my need to do it right.
    Soften my guilt.
Soften my feelings of not being enough.
    Soften my need to please.
    Soften my anger.
    Soften my loneliness.
    Soften my sadness.
Return me to my purity, the truth of my being.

As you soften the rigid hard core of the false beliefs you hold, you will begin to yield and be receptive to the truth of who you are, and the abundance of life. This will allow spring to bloom in your heart and life.
