Beyi is a traditional Dagara ritual whereby each participant has the rare and unique opportunity to discover one’s purpose, be seen within community, and embody one’s true spiritual name, imbibing the essence and quality of one’s own birthright.

Each of us, together with our Ancestors, determined why we would come to this earth plain at this time. We have collectively discovered that these times are critical. Our world is out of balance with the rhythm of Spirit and Nature; our destiny beckons us to make the changes necessary for future generations.

Beyi offers an opportunity for those yearning to know what their role in this collective world is about, what gifts are ready to burst forward and be shared, what doorway is waiting to be swung open.

Malidoma is uniquely gifted to take each person’s story to the Ancestors and translate back each person’s calling for being here at this time in the form of a name in the Dagara language.
