The ideal diet consists of 70-100% raw fruits and veggies.
This will keep your bowel movements regular. Eat nothing but these green smoothies for a week and see the difference!
Much of it should be greens like spinach, Romaine, Green Leaf Lettuce, Kale, Collards, Mustard, Turnip, whatever you like(yes,raw), but NEVER iceberg lettuce. No nutrition there. Place a handful of greens in blender with RIPE fruit in season and water to blend into smoothie. Fill that blender up! Drink this 2-4 times daily. No kidding! It's delish! Sample recipe:
2 bananas
1 ripe peeled pear
1 peeled Macintosh apple
1 peeled orange,or mango, or some fresh RIPE pineapple
1 handful of spinach
2 or 3 large lettuce leaves(see above paragraph)
Blend all together with 1-2c. bottled water, stopping blender occasionally to allow settling. Enjoy! Next time make up your own recipe. That's half the fun.
