Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center

Description        

The Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center specializes in the use of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for the effective treatment and prevention of many disorders, including: infertility, pain, injuries, arthritis, sciatica, insomnia, stress, anxiety, depression, menopause, migraine, allergies, GERD, IBS, TMJ, women's health, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, addictions, headaches, and weight management.

Each of our practitioners is a North Carolina licensed acupuncturist, has completed over 3,000 hours of graduate training in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine (including training in Beijing, China), and is nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Every time you visit the Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center, you will receive the highest level of acupuncture and herbal medical care available.

Profile and Credentials        

Hope Peek, L.Ac., MSOM, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM)

Hope is a North Carolina Licensed Acupuncturist and nationally board certified in Oriental Medicine. She received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College and completed further training in China. Hope’s specialties include treating infertility, women’s health issues, emotional imbalances, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia.

Hope was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and graduated with a B.A. in psychology. She enjoys the outdoors, swimming, skiing, and reading.



Todd Trembula, L.Ac., MSOM, Dipl. OM (NCCAOM)

Todd is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of North Carolina and nationally board certified in Oriental Medicine. He completed his Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College and received additional training in China. Todd focuses on treating pain, injuries, headaches, insomnia, anxiety, stress, infertility, and male health issues.

Todd grew up in Bucks County Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. He obtained his B.A. from the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. As well, Todd has training and experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant. His interests include hiking, martial arts, skiing, and playing guitar.

In addition to their training in the United States, Hope and Todd have also studied abroad and completed advanced hospital internships at the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center, People’s Republic of China. These internships included clinical training in two integrated medical hospitals in Beijing. Additionally, this training allowed Hope and Todd to work with some of China’s most experienced and respected doctors of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine. It also gave them the experience of seeing how acupuncture and Oriental medicine can work together with Western medical sciences, in an integrated setting.

Furthermore, Hope and Todd have received training in the Toyo Hari style of traditional Japanese acupuncture. Toyo Hari is a highly refined and gentle form of traditional Japanese Acupuncture (Keiraku-chiryo). Their primary instructor was Sensei Takayuki Koei Kuwahara. Sensei Kuwahara was formally trained in Japan and was also an apprentice under Kodo Fukushima, renowned master and founder of the Toyo Hari Japanese acupuncture system.

  • Work Hours and Fee Schedule        

    The Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center's beautiful office is conveniently located 700 East Boulevard. This is at the corner of Springdale Avenue & East Boulevard, directly across Springdale Avenue from the Greek Orthodox Church. After turning onto Springdale Avenue, please turn into the first driveway on the left. The entrance to our office is located at the back of the 700 East Boulevard building, and there is plenty of parking in this area. The Charlotte Acupuncture and Wellness Center is located on the first floor. After entering the building, the entrance to our office is on the left (Suite 2).
