As an earth artist,and teacher I serve the needs of my students and the great mother,realizing that we all need to be validated and blessed in such a negative culture. As an Ecopsychologist and writer, I include our relationship to the Earth around us as very significant in our mental and physical health. I also look at the psychosis of our culture as impactful in how we feel about ourselves and our world. I teach workshops in connecting with the earth by using the cob[earth] building process. Profile and Credentials

I am a mudmam specializing in the values of Ecological Psychology and a teacher who weaves environmental education into all of my work. A published poet, writer and environmental artist,[and classic under-achiever ha!] I bring people together to play, heal, and dance in the beauty of the Earth, constructing community as part of the process of creating "Earthprayers for World Peace"[community collaborative Earth Monuments]. A new project has come from a dream: to make peach sized earthballs [earthprayers for world peace] that I give to people to plant in the earth around the world and when enough get planted we will have World Peace in our lifetime. I also have stone and ceramic sculptures and "Songs from the Earth","Medicine from Mother-Earth"and "Dreams from the Earth" which are colaborativly constructed Earth Healing Environments,ceromonial in nature,to bring us home so to speak in our connection to the Earth.I see the community of artists working in colaboration with Mother-Earth as a pressing need for 21st century.

Philosophy and Comments

I believe at this time in history we are living in a very destructive [Pathological] culture. We have forgotten how to live as human beings, sharing and caring for each other and the world. I believe we each have a special gift to offer the world, and a destiny that came with us when we were born. Looking at our wound of origin [in a normal way we all get wounded by life, which brings us awareness and compassion] and marrying our wound with the wound of the Earth is, I believe, a place of destiny and power. I also believe in humor and the new paradyme to work together to create beauty with the earth...a new series "The song's of the earth"Medicine and Dreams from the Earth are done with found natural objects from nature and sacred art in collaboration with other artists can be done with/for individuals,families,organizations and buisiness's."In the earth their is a soul they say and you are that" RUMI

Work Hours and Fee Schedule

Monday thru Thursday and weekends for special projects..9am to 6pm,usually sliding scale $35-$90. With at times special considerations [trades]that are perfectly clear. Workshops are reasonably priced depending on the length of workshop.And FUN!

Earthprayers for World Peace

This is a process of gathering people to create "Earthprayers For World Peace", a series of community healing objects, sculptures, earthen benches, or bread ovens in which we play together in the mud and create beautiful objects in the name of World Peace. We also put prayers, poems, and objects in the mud as we're building, which makes the finished piece very powerful, and, I believe, a beacon of hope, and love for the Earth!A second process has occured from a dream in which I was told when we plant Earthen balls the size of a peach[another form of an Earthprayer for World Peace],when enough are planted in the earth,we will in fact have World Peace in our lifetime.

Doing Business as if the Whole World Mattered

Looking at the need for Humor,Spirituality Ethics,Kindness and generocity in our business world.Consumer Capitalism is a thought virus and a spirit and soul cancer destroying so much of our world,communities,families and individual relationships because it is the negative belief that the bottom line is the only value that is important.We also believe in America that greed and selfishness are the normal values of western man and we were born flawed with original sin and must be saved by fundamental religious beliefs.I believe in Mathew Fox's[a former Catholic monk] idea of original blessing[and that we are in fact in created in God's image] not original sin!Meister Eckhart qute seems to be true for me"God is voluptuous and delicious".

Healing the Earth Healing Ourselves

Looking at how important Artists are for creating solutions for the problems of the world.Are we using toxic materials?Do we see galleries as the only place for our work?
