Lanita is a 500-hr. Certified R.Y.T. teacher & Stress Management Expert with over 10 years and 10,000 hours of hands on experience teaching beginners, plus size, health-challenged, seniors, and the very stressed. She is know for her loving approach to yoga, her healing hands and open heart. Having lived with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, weight and back challenges most of her life, Lanita is living proof that anyone can benefit from the amazing results of yoga. She has been featured in many TV Interviews and magazines, including Yoga Journal & LA Yoga.
Bri. Damara is an American Hindu nun and a disciple of the late Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswmai, (Himalayan Academy; Hinduism Today). She was trained in South Indian-Style Hatha Yoga in India by Yogeswar, and Yogiraj Vethathiri Maharishi. She is certified in Massage Therapy and several styles of healing touch. Damara leads Workshops in Yoga History, Anatomy, Philosophy & South Indian Style Yoga.
Marguerite has taught yoga for over 30 years and has studied intensively with John Friend (Anusara Yoga), Donna Farhi, and trained in the Iyengar, Astanga, and Kundalini Traditions. She teaches the most vigorous style of yoga at A Gentle Way, and leads Teacher Training Workshops in Asana & Nutrition.
