In addition to acupuncture, other physical modalities such as cupping, paraffin, infrared heat therapy, and electro-acupuncture are also available. To assure acupuncture treatment will be beneficial for the patient, a complimentary consultation is arranged prior to the patient's initial examination. If, at that time,it is decided that the patient will be a candidate for acupuncture and Oriental medicine treatment, the patient will be informed of how many visits will be needed to obtain the best results.

Farrar V. Celada, A.P. is a licensed acupuncture physician who is board-certified in Acupuncture by the NCCAOM. She is a native of Mobile, Alabama and is a resident of Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Celada is a graduate of the Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando, Florida and pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama--Birmingham. Her post-graduate studies emphasized the treatment of gynecological and neurological disorders with Chinese medicine and were performed at Shandong University of TCM in Shandong, China. Dr. Celada has served as a professor of Chinese medicine at her alma mater, the Florida College of Integrative Medicine and has been practicing acupuncture for the past five years in Florida.
