The Institute of Interdisciplinary Yoga Studies is a centre dedicated to natural healing and education. It is a unique non-membership centre offering yoga classes and complementary therapies (Cranial Sacral, Zero Balancing), and yoga for special populations (Yoga for M.S. and Chair yoga), and yoga teacher training.

Ms. Kaylor is the President and Founder of the Institute of Interdisciplinary Yoga Studies (IIYS) and the Director of Yoga Teacher Training at The Life Centre in London, England. She founded Yoga Practice of Wichita in 1995, which evolved into Barefoot Studio in 2000. To meet the demand for higher education, the studio reorganized and became the IIYS in 2001. Renee has practiced yoga for twenty years and is a Registered Yoga Teacher at the 500-hour level through the national Yoga Alliance. She is certified in various forms of energy therapies, has her M.A. in Liberal Studies and B.A. in Education from Wichita State University. Renee is a philanthropist; teaching public classes at the IIYS, consulting Texas Cancer Associates in the creation of a complimentary therapy program for cancer patients, and reviews teacher applications across the United States and Europe for Yoga Alliance.

The Institute of Interdisciplinary Yoga Studies (IIYS), is a non-profit organization dedicated to raise the consciousness of all who visit and all who are interested in yoga, natural healing modalities and complimentary therapies by providing education and training. Recognized by the national Yoga Alliance, the IIYS is the only yoga teacher training facility in Kansas. In addition to the training programs, yoga classes, specialized exercise classes (People with Arthritis Can Exercise) and traditional Thai Yoga Therapy and Massage and complimentary therapies are offered to the general public in Wichita and surrounding area. In 2003, we are expanding our educational programs in alternative and complimentary therapies to include Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Zero Balancing, and various forms of massage.

We are open 6 days per week, Monday through Saturday. Our classes, trainings and therapy timetables are posted on our site.
