Redwood Massage & Sauna, first opened in 1964 by two Finnish women, is now under the management of Beverly May. Beverly is a full time massage therapist with over thirty years of experience. Beverly chaired the California Coalition on Somatic Practices from 1992-2002. She currently serves as Chair of the Governmental Relations Committee for the California Massage Therapy Association (AMTA-CA). In addition, we are members of the Redwood City/San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce and Beverly is on the Board of Directors of the Redwood City Downtown Business Group.

We pride ourselves on having exceptionally talented massage therapists trained in a variety of specialized techniques.

This is the friendliest place around for massages - most of the therapists have been here for many years ,and average over 10 years experience each. We love our work and very much care about our clients. Unlike spas, we don't sell anything but massage (and saunas) - pressure to re-book or buy products. Massages are the full time you pay for, rather than the 50 minute "professional hour".
