I also teach the art of "Situational Comedy for Non-Comedians .. how to wake up laughing and leave laughter in your wake, and do individual consultations.

Spent my deformative years in Brooklyn, New York. Graduated Brooklyn College with a BA in political science. Masters from Antioch-Putney Graduate School of Education. Started alternative school in Washington, D.C. and wrote book about it called No Particular Place to Go: Making of a Free High School (Simon & Schuster, 1972). Taught history at Wayne State University, creative writing at University of Michigan. Started Pathways Magazine in Ann Arbor in 1980. Since 1986, I've been traveling and performing cosmic comedy in the guise of Swami Beyondananda. Swami has written four books: Driving Your Own Karma, When You See A Sacred Cow Milk It For All It's Worth, Duck Soup for the Soul and Swami for Precedent: A 7-Step Plan to Heal the Body Politic and Cure Electile Dysfunction.
