This picture was taken at St. Mary's of the Lake. It is located in Mundeline, Il. My aunt had a home with this Lake behind her property. My cousin and I used to play there when we were kids. The Nuns were always so nice to us. As I became an adult, this place became my Santuary. I would drive out to St. Mary's for peace and quit. My thoughts always became clearer to me when I was there. I often would go into the Chapel for reflection. The buildings reminded me of Roman Architecture.I was fortunate to visit the summer of 2007 while I was visiting my Aunt. I shared this place with my Husband, although we were not married at the time. We married one year later. June 21, 2008.
