Kerri has studied many modalities including Reiki with many teachers from

all over the world. She feels it is her purpose in life to use her

knowledge and gifts to help others obtain a state of peace, well-being,

continued spiritual growth and evolution.

Our goal is to empower you, through education, through support so that

you can ultimately balance yourself and live the joyful life you have

always imagined for yourself. We recognize that everyone has their

challenges and they are all unique, however we are founded on the

strong belief that at our source, we are all one energy and it is by

supporting and honouring one another that we truly heal ourselves and

the planet as a whole.

At Circle of Light everyone is treated as an equal as the true power in

healing comes from the person receiving the healing. We are merely a

Reiki

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) means Universal life energy in Japanese. 'Rei' refers to the Universal Soul and 'Key' refers to Vital Energy.

It is a natural, safe, effective hands on healing technique that helps restore equilibrium to the body's energy centers(chakras).

When these energy centers are operating in balance, the body's ability to self-heal becomes restored.

When these energy centers are un-balanced our immune system becomes stressed and we can experience things like:

depression, stress, anxiety, chronic headaches, chronic colds and flu, fatigue, insomnia

Often we ignore bodily signs that we are out of balance until diagnosed with something more serious.

Reiki successfully treats these imbalances. The energy field is brought into balance and the physical body is able to heal more quickly.

By keeping our energy field active, restored, and balanced we can achieve renewed health and a greater sense of well being.

Certified Usui Reiki Classes

Reiki is for everyone. It is a wonderful modality to learn to have the ability to self-heal and to help friends and family. It is 'first aid on the go'. You can Reiki people, plants, and pets. It is gentle enough to use on infants and the elderly or those who are frail and sick. It is a wonderful substitute for those who cannot have the body manipulation present in massage or other forms of healing.

Children respond remarkably well to Reiki. It helps alleviate the pain of labour and delivery and can soothe a crying baby.

There is nothing more valuable and self empowering than having a tool you can use to help you in your own healing. If you are already in perfect health, Reiki helps you stay balanced and full of vital energy. Reiki successfully treats minor ailments from bee stings to headaches and stress, as well as more serious diseases such as cancer, MS, arthritis, and diabetes.

It does not interfere with medications or medical disorders, or other forms of treatment. It is not a substitute for a medical diagnosis but it can certainly help you heal a lot faster and with a lot less pain.

Learning Reiki is an investment in yourself, your health and wellbeing, and your future.

I teach Reiki classes on an ongoing basis. They are usually on weekends however I can teach them on days or evenings during the week and am willing to travel to your location if you have a group that would like to learn reiki.

Gendai Reiki focuses on getting back to the 'roots' of Reiki, the original Japanese teachings and Reiki as a process to improving the quality of life~ to become healthy and happy.

Level 1(Shoden) ~ The channel of Reiki is opened and you begin to practice hands on healing on yourself and those around you

Level 2(Okuden) ~ The symbols are taught and used so that advanced healing can be practiced on many people

Level 3(Shinpiden) ~ The stage where you study the way to attain true happiness(a rich and peaceful state of mind) through Usui Sensei's teachings

Level 4 Master/Teacher Level(Gokuiden) ~ The stage where you keep practicing while you support those who ask to improve the quality of their lives.

Certified Komyo Reiki Kai Classes(as taught to me by the founder Hyakuten Inamoto Sensei)

Level 1 (Shoden) ~ you learn basic knowledge about Reiki and a hands on healing art. You will receive a series of Reju(attunements) to empower you to be a Reiki channel.

Level 2 (Chuden) ~ you will receive Reju(attunements) and you will receive 3 shirushi(symbols) to allow you to channel more energy and do distance healings.

Level 3 (Okuden) ~ you will receive Reju (attunements) and then be given the fourth shirushi(symbol. You will learn to culvitate

and uplift your spirituality and to tread on a path to self-realization, or Satori(Enlightenment)

Level 4 (Shinpiden) ~ the teaching degree of Komyo Reiki. You will learn how to teach and pass on this healing art.

Axiatonal Re-Alignment

This therapy helps regenerate and reharmonize our mental, emotional and spiritual energy bodies allowing them to work in harmony with one another.

Axiatonal lines are along acupuncture meridians and feed into spin points that lie near the surface of the skin. Spin points are small vortices of energy that regulate the molecules and cells of the body. When they are spinning in an appropriate manner they create a grid for cellular regeneration. When this happens the axiatonal energy is able to recharge the bodies, and clear negative emotional and mental patterns.

This process results in reduced stress, internal calmness, and emotional balance. This is a very relaxing and grounding therapy. It is especially useful for those who feel off balanced or confused about their lives and the direction they are headed. Axiatonal Re-Alignment provides a deeper conection to the authenitc self and all of life.

The 5 Tibetan Yogas are a series of exercises that not only provide the body with flexibility but the mind as well . When practiced as a long-term daily practice, they balance the subtle elements in our body and transform confusion, anger, attachment and other delusive mental states.

For people of any age or condition who can find 1O minutes in their day to practice, these exercises are a simple, extremely efficient yoga routine that increases mental clarity, energy, physical flexibility and strength. They are renown to promote longevity for lamas in the Himalayas.

One of the most wonderful things about these exercises is they are geared to be gentle. This is a yoga routine for people who cannot do yoga. They take only minutes to do and fit easily into busy lifestyles. They have a profound effect on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of self. They promote a sense of well- being, peace, and balance.

Dekyi-Lee, a former Tibetan Buddhist nun, received the transmission bestowed by Za Choeje Rinpoche, a Tibetan master under guidance of the Dalai Lama. The direct lineage of these exercises has differences in the order, the subtlety of their explanations and what each exercise balances and transforms.

These exercises trim the body, they strengthen our inner organs and balance the internal subtle energy systems. The ultimate result of following the program is a greater flexibility of body and mind leading to all-round better health, more peace and happiness, and longer life.

They are a perfect accompaniment to meditation practice, Tai Chi, Pilates and will benefit anyone with physical limitations or not enough time to do other longer yoga classes or gym workouts.

For someone in athletic training, they are the perfect compliment, providing the lubrication of the body and the pliability that is often lost in strenuous strength-building workouts.

I would like to thank Dekyi-Lee for teaching me these yogas and for her blessing and training to allow me to pass the exercises and information associated with them onto others.
