Work Hours and Fee Schedule
My Manhattan practice is located in the Theater District at 250 W 49th St, suite 503. I generally see patients there on Tuesdays, and you can schedule an appointment by calling 212 722 2441.
I also see patients in New Rochelle on Monday and Wed-Friday. You can schedule an appointment there by calling 914 637-0908.
Unfortunately, we don’t take insurance – I wish we could. But my process is very thorough and takes an hour to work with you in order to really get to the root of the problem – a typical dermatologist takes only a few minutes – and then that’s also the quality of the treatment you’re going to get. They might give you a cream that’ll make your problem go away for a little bit, but if it’s an underlying problem then it’ll keep coming back. We do provide a super bill to submit to your insurance company so that you can receive out-of-network benefits, if you are so entitled.
I work with patents who are frustrated with the standard medical system and aren’t getting results, or who don’t want just a cream that’ll patch over the problem, but want to make sure the problem is totally gone.
How I work
My efforts go toward finding what has brought about and precipitated your illness, looking for the environmental and food based causes, and the specific biochemical weaknesses which have lead to your "disease". I treat defects in the digestive tract as sources of foreign antigens which senstize your immune system to your own tissues, leading to the inflammation which manefests as allergy or auto-immune disease. I focus on the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes, but also work with related conditions of digestion, Candida, chronic fatigue, and nervous system.
Conditions Treated
The most common skin conditions I treat include acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, vitiligo, skin cancer, blemishes, nail problems, and fungus, to name a few. I treat all conditions of the skin, hair, nails and mucous membranes. I treat Candida, chronic fatigue, allergies, environmental illness and autoimmune conditions, As part of treatment of underlying conditions, I also work with improving digestive function, and the organs of elimination including liver function and biotransformation of toxins.
Beauty and Anti-aging
There are a number of cosmaceutical products which appear to slow the aging of the skin under the right conditions. I have been working on methods for choosing the right combination of products, in conjunction with food and life-style choice, for the purpose of slowing skin aging. I have lectured internationally on this topic, and consulted with pharmaceutical companies for the purpose of developing more effective products, and can bring some of this experience to keeping you radiant looking and beautiful. These products reduce the progression of wrinkles and reduce the appearance of cellulite.
