Dr. Kathryn Seifert has created 2 Guided imagery, relaxation CD and guided journals (Pathways to Inner Peace and Healing From Loss) , 1 relaxation CD (Relax), and 1 guided journal ebook (Dancing with the Aardvark). Additionally, Dr. Seifert will be releasing her forst book, "How Children Become Violent," by the beginning of 2007.

Profile and Credentials        

Kathryn Seifert received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, Baltimore Campus in 1995. She is a Diplomate (DABPS) in forensic psychology and a Fellow in the Maryland Psychological Association. Dr. Seifert has over 30 years experience in mental health, addictions, and criminal justice work. In addition to creating the CARE (Child and Adolescent Risk for Evaluation) published by Research Press, Dr. Seifert has authored articles and lectured nationally and internationally on family violence and trauma. She founded Eastern Shore Psychological Services, a multidisciplinary private practice that specializes in working with high-risk youth and their families. Dr. Seifert received the 2004 Community Behavioral Health research award.

Philosophy and Comments        

I believe in the empowerment of people to find peace, happiness and fulfillment in their lives. All the wisdon we ever need to have is within all of us through our connection to a higher power.

Work Hours and Fee Schedule        

My Psychotherapy practice is open monday through Thursday 8 AM to 8PM, Friday 8 Am to 5 PM. While I no longer see private clients, I have 50 therapists in three locations that provide excellent services, including EMDR and art therapy. We have created and research a successful school based mental health program, as well. I am available for consultation and presentations. The fee for workshops is $500 per half day plus expenses.
