Energy psychology is a remarkable family of self-help and practitioner methods that help promote high level mind-body health, performance, and creative expression. However, energy psychology methods may not be appropriate in all cases. As part of the informed consent process, it will be mutually determined if energy psychology methods are appropriate for you. If a therapeutic relationship is established, my goal is to teach you the self-help aspects of these energy psychology methods so that you are empowered to use them, thereby decreasing my role as your therapist. To increase that efficiency and client direction, and in view of the experimental nature of energy therapies (see disclaimer below), all work conducted under the auspices of the Energy Psychotherapy Clinic will be self-paid. No insurance will be accepted or filed. Cancellation must be reported 24 hours or more in advance of the scheduled appointment or the full price will be due. Fees are as follows and must be paid at each session with cash or check:

Initial session 90 minutes $190
Subsequent session 60 minutes $125

Some clients may experience in the first session a sense of resolution in dealing with their fears, addictions, limiting beliefs or aggravating habits. Others may find they need subsequent sessions. Still others who have a positive experience with the presenting issue may decide they want to work on other issues or problems.

Energy Psychotherapy: A New Paradigm for Healing

Energy psychology is a family of healing methods that blend contemporary psychology, ancient healing traditions, integrative medicine insights and cutting-edge mind-body research. In the practice of energy psychotherapy, these powerful methods are brought together with conventional psychotherapeutic techniques to enhance the therapeutic process and are clinically observed to consistently help with a wide range of psychological conditions. Many energy psychotherapists and clients report accelerated relief from emotional distress using energy psychology methods.

Energy therapies work with the human subtle energy matrix, sometimes referred to as Qi, prana, auras, energy meridians, chakras, acupoints, or the biofield. The exsistence of an energy field within and beyond all living things is a point of agreement between science and spirituality. Energy psychology does not require adherence to any particular belief system, and its methods have been shown to be effective whether one believes in the practice or not.
