Sifu Gary W. Abersold is a multifaceted Instructor and Therapist incorporating extensive training in the Traditional Energy Arts of China & Tibet. He is the Head Instructor of the Energetic Arts of Michigan.

Energetic Arts of Michigan was formed to make Energetic movement avaible to general public and to keep the arts alive and well through the next generations to come.

Gary was diagnosed with Various Lung disorders & Immune System disorders as a young adult and began his Energetic Quest at age 13, throughout the early years he regain control his health and has been in Superior Health ever since he began. As years passed his training led him from one step to another and began to accumulate to an training system that sets himself from programs out there being offered.

He is a full time Instructor and works with people all over the State of Michigan, his current focus has been in recuperating peoples health through Natural Movement and how to harness the Elements of Nature.

Gary is a certified Instructor in Qigong, Meditation & Martial Arts & has earned the rank of Sifu, And holds many honorary positions throughout the United States.
But he still retains an approachable, enjoyable persona that makes training free of the stress and strain found in most schools and centers. He takes training serious but also believes you should also enjoy your practice and go about it with no guilt involved.


Gary believes that all Qigong training is easy to learn but is also very profound at the same time and that it can be learned and cultivated by everyone. He also believes that anyone can heal themselves once they understand the basic concepts on how it works.

His goal is to make the Energetic Arts a International Organization where all people can learn to heal themselves through Energetic Arts.

All of the above teachers taught various Taoist & Buddhist valuable sets & Chinese medicine programs through the years and gary has taken the best from these masters and has incorporated in his Qigong, health & Meditation programs.

Gary continues his training schedule with the above teachers and still pursues expanding his knowledge in the Healing Arts of Asia.

It is my belief that Energetic Arts are for everyone and that no one should be held back of this once hidden knowledge any longer in our society. There was a time when most of the Internal & External Arts where only taught to a few lucky and to people that where very fortunate to be born into wealth, that could pay the big money for it.

We are now at the cross roads in our world where many of these arts are slowy disappearing due to many of the old Masters passing away and students no longer promoting them due to the society changes taking place. It is my mission in life to take what I have found
most credible and keep alive for next generation. My original mission when I started learning Qigong & Martial Arts was fro my own health and as time has passed on it has shown to be my destiny to teach what I have learned and to help all people that are interested.

My work hours are as follows:

Monday through Saturday 9am-9pm
Sunday 7pm-9pm

Classes are taught in various community centers, Churches, Karate Schools. All fees are collected by Center and vary due to classes being taught. Prices range from $45.00- $90.00 per Semester.

All outdoor classes end November 21, 2004 & restart on May 15th, 2005. These classes are at Raintree Park,
