Health Choices Institute & Holistic Massage School

Description        

Health Choices is an innovative Holistic Massage School located in Hillsborough (near Belle Mead) in central New Jersey. Health Choices has led the way in Holistic Massage Therapy training in New Jersey since 1984. We are a NJ State Department of Education approved private vocational training provider, and offer a 710 hour comprehensive program. Courses are offered in Massage, Ohashiatsu, On-Site (chair) Massage, Polarity, Neuromuscular Therapy, Anatomy and Physiology, Business Skills, Somatic Studies, and much more.

We offer a variety of workshops and training for both the public who are looking to experience and learn new skills, as well as bodywork practitioners who are interested in expanding their skills and meeting CEU requirements.

Health Choices is approved as a Continuing Education provider for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). To review upcoming workshops, check out our Continuing Ed Classes.

The public is invited to receive a Health Choices integrative massage at the special rate of $35 for a full one-hour session. Our students administer these sessions as an integral part of their training. Call 908-874-0929 for an appointment.

Profile and Credentials        

Owner and C.E.O. Renate Novak has been successfully practicing massage therapy since 1969. She received her initial training from a full-time, two and a half year Holistic Health training program in Germany. She's had extensive experience working with chiropractors doing deep tissue and medical massage. Renate has been teaching massage for many years. Her experiences in the profession enriche students in clinical supervision and Swedish massage. Her approach to teaching is vibrant and loving, encouraging students to utilize their intuition.
