At North Shore Hypnosis, our mission is to promote wellness, improve motivation, confidence, learning, memory; relieve stress, discomfort or negative feelings and habits through hypnostism and self-hypnosis. This can be accomplished in private sessions, workshops, HypnoBirthing classes and corporate wellness programs. We have two convenient office locations, one in Northport and another in Holbrook.

The Reiki I and II Weekend Intensive is a combination of lecture, discussion and hands-on experience. In both Reiki I and II attunements are given. I teach Reiki history, the hand positions, the Reiki principles and you experience guided meditations. We study the chakras as well. Students memorize and practice drawing the symbols.You also learn how to use them in self healing, distant healing, scanning and beaming, the purpose of the aura sweep and how to do them. All students give and receive a Reiki treatment. Reiki Certificates are awarded upon successful completion. We begin practicing during the class, but you must commit to practicing Reiki off premises as well. You need to practice to gain the experience and confidence to fully utilize your Reiki training. North Shore Reiki offers monthly Reiki shares every third Wednesday to enable you to strengthen your channel and to become confident in working with the energy.

In the Reiki III/Master Training, the Master Symbol is given in an attunement. The class is taught in a two day intensive, it includes: The values and spiritual orientation of a Reiki Master, The Usui Master symbol. You will receive training to enable you to initiate your own students into all three degrees of Reiki. Practice time to memorize the symbol and attunement procedures, Meditation to prepare you to receive the Reiki Master attunement. Practice to build confidence in administering Reiki attunements. A class manual that includes detailed steps for giving the attunements as well as teaching classes. Certificates are awarded upon successful completion. Your Reiki lineage chart is included. The Master Attunement Is A Powerful Healing Experience: The successful completion of this training qualifies Reiki practitioners to pass the ability to do Reiki on to others; and to teach, if one chooses. You will receive the rights to use the North Shore Reiki Training manuals as they are, or you may alter them as you wish and rename them with your own practice on them.

These goals are accomplished through the utilization of hypnosis that incorporates deep relaxation, behavioral assessment/modification, goal setting, systematic desensitization, regression/progression techniques, EFT (the Emotional Freedom Technique) and Reiki.

After obtaining her NGH certification as a clinical hypnotherapist in July of 1993, she began her private practice later that year. Solution oriented hypnosis to individuals soon grew to include workshops, corporate programs, group sessions, certification training programs and hypnobirthing.

North Shore Hypnosis began offering hypnosis programs on tape or CD to those for whom an office visit would be impractical or impossible. In 1999, North Shore Hypnosis included the practice EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Reiki treatments, as well as training programs in all degrees of traditional Reiki, (the Usui System of Natural Healing).

She is a NGH Board Certified Hypnotist, Instructor and faculty member, President of the Long Island Chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotists (LI-NGH), a member of the National Federation of Hypnotists (NFH), and the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP).

The NGH Member of the Year award is a prestigious award presented to one of 9,000 members annually.
