We have been giving our programs since 1975. Marilyn Gordon, founder and director of the Center for Hypnotherapy is a certified hypnotherapist, healer, teacher, speaker and author. She is the author of Extraordinary Healing: Transforming Your Consciousness, Your Energy System, and Your Life. She is mentioned in over thirteen Who's Whos and has been given the Hypnosis Achievement Award for 1997 by the National Guild of Hypnotists, as well as the Charles Tebbetts Award for "Spreading the Light of Hypnosis" in 1999. She was also given the 2001 Ormond McGill Award as "Outstanding NGH Faculty Member." She writes for "The Journal of Hypnotism."

Our primary purpose is the profound mental-emotional-spiritual transformation of life. We focus on being compassionate and inspirational. Our purpose is to work with love to amplify the good and the talents in others, to help them heal mind and body and empower their lives.

We’ve created a way for you to learn efficiently so that you get everything you need in an organized and enlightening way. We teach you many aspects in the field of hypnotherapy, and we concentrate on a particular client-centered method that’s easy to learn and works, often miraculously for most clients. In our school, we have seven excellent instructors. Director, Marilyn Gordon, is a Certified Instructor for the National Guild of Hypnotists, hypnotherapist, healer, teacher, speaker and author with over twenty-five years of experience. She is the author of several books, including Extraordinary Healing, three manuals and many cassette tapes.

Our school is affiliated with a time-honored, huge, international organization. We have classes that allow a lot of individual attention and hands-on-training. You learn to do the work and market yourself as well. You become a professional and you also experience great personal growth.

About Our Life-Transformation Seminar Program

In all seminars, you’ll learn transformational human technologies that you can use daily in your life and work. We’ll learn and use The Wise Mind Process, EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques, Relaxation Processes, Mind-Mapping and much more.

Seminars are for the general public, as well as for practitioners of the healing arts. Hypnotherapists will get advanced certificates and CEUs. Nurses can receive CEUs also.

Workshops are interactive and highly transformational. There is no requirement for you to speak up in a workshop. You have the right to remain silent if that is comfortable for you.

All seminars are held in an atmosphere of love, respect and high regard for you as an individual.

Seminars are led by Marilyn Gordon, hypnotherapist, teacher, speaker, author and founder and director of the Center for Hypnotherapy in Oakland CA. She has over 25 years of experience in the healing arts.

The THM Certification Training is a two-day professional workshop. If you’re not a professional, you can take the seminar with special permission.

Through the combination of hypnotherapy and EFT, the technique that heals by tapping with the fingers on stress-relief points, help clients to move from darkness into light, often with astounding results.
