I am a certified Lamaze teacher, Doula, and breastfeeding support specialist based on the South Shore of Long Island, NY.
I teach what I love with enthusiam and humor. I have been dedicated
to educating women in the effective, normal, healthy, evidence-based techniques of childbirth since my own children were born in the late '60's.
After 30 years in commercial art, I now devote myself full-time to teach and
support satisfying birth.

I believe that women who are fully informed, supported and confident will
want normal birth. I advocate respect for the birth process, for a woman's
right to choose evidence-based birth techniques, and for minimizing
intervention during labor and birth without compelling medical reasons. I am committed to continuous labor and post-partum support in a culturally sensitive manner, and to protecting mother and baby from separation after birth.

Lamaze Classes (5 weekly sessions, 2 hours each-8 weeks before due-date): $225.00
Labor and Birth Doula Support, starting at home and continuing through
birth at hospital or birth center: $675.00
Post-partum Doula support, including breastfeeding support at home:$45.00 per hour
Newborn parenting education, including baby-calming techniques
at home: $45.00 per hour
