Description
Traditonal Chinese Medicine (acupuncture and herbal meidicine) is a complete system of medicine that can diagnose, treat, and prevent illness. It has evolved over the past 5,000 years through the work of ancient physicians and has survived the test of time. It is currently being used in hospitals and private clinics around the country. It is accepted by the World Health Organization and National Institute of Health as an accepable alternative or adjuct to traditional therapies. I combine herbal medicine, acupuncture, oriental bodywork, dietary therapy, and lifestyle and exercise programs to optimize health.
Profile and Credentials
I graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico with a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (chinese acupuncture, herbal pharmacology, oriental bodywork). I have also been trained in two styles of Japanese Acupuncture. I currently hold a Montana license to practice acupuncture and prescribe herbal formulas.
Philosophy and Comments
Sometimes healing the body/mind/spirit requires a swift and heavy hammer and sometimes a gentle persuasion is all that is needed. I incorporate flexibility regarding the treatment strategies for each of my patients. I don't hesitate to refer out for lab tests or opinions from other practitioners if required. Oriental Medicine is considered complimentary medicine because it can be used alone or as an adjuct to modern therapies. Come see why so many families around the country are choosing Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a complimentary means for restoring health.
Work Hours and Fee Schedule
The first consultation/treatment lasts 1.5 hours and the charge is $75. Follow up treatments are $60. Herbal formulas may be prescribed.
