We invite you to explore a 21st century sound-therapy tool to activate your energy field and provide you with superior physical health, improved mental clarity, stable emotions and higher awareness. This sound therapy is derived from two ancient, sacred Gregorian chant scales. These therapeutic tones "shrug off" out-of-tune forces and re-tune vibrational essences to create ease where there was dis-ease. It reduces stress, aids sleep, deepens meditation, restores, rejuvenates, relaxes. This sound therapy enhances therapeutic massage, Reiki, yoga, acupuncture, psychotherapy, hospice work. It brings patience, joy, love, gentleness, kindness.
Profile and Credentials
The present director is Dr. Maria McKinney. She has degrees from Mannes College, Yale University, Stanford University, and University of Oregon. She is a professional cellist and also plays viola de gamba which she learned in Basel, Switzerland. She left a position as Professor of Music at Central Washington University to devote her full time energies to the work of the center.

The mission of the Casa de Maria Research Center is to explore, promote and practice the life enhancing concepts of music, sound, and light, to assist in the healing of humankind, and to help raise its consciousness. Healing of the body means supporting more positive attitudes and emotions thus bringing greater joy, love, harmony, inner peace, happiness, enhanced relationships, and much more.
