Profile and Credentials        

Michele has a passion for holistic healing and enjoys helping others on their journey towards health, wellness, and balance. She provides a natural means of relieving many common ailments, including headaches, insomnia, digestive complaints, reproductive issues, and joint and muscle stiffness. Because she discovered complementary and alternative medicine through her own healing journey, she is especially adept in assisting clients who suffer from stress, anxiety, and depression related concerns. Her intuitive touch provides a deep sense of relaxation, releases stress and tension, and revitalizes the body, mind, and spirit.

Michele received her Bachelor of Science in Natural Health, graduating with Highest Honors, from Clayton College of Natural Health. She studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Traditional Thai Massage as well as Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Hydrotherapy, and Ear Candling at St. Croix Center for the Healing Arts. She also trained as a Reiki Master Teacher with TeriLeigh Schmidt at The Yoga Path.

Work Hours and Fee Schedule        

Services are offered by appointment at the Center for Alternative Healing in Apple Valley, or can be provided in the convenience of your home or office for an additional $20 fee.

Healing Arts        

Aromatherapy Massage

Combines the healing properties of essential oils with the soothing relaxation of a Swedish Massage. This unique sensory journey eases the mind, increases circulation, eliminates toxins, improves lymphatic drainage, and relieves aches and pains. Essential oils are customized to your needs.

$80 for 60 minutes



Ear Candling

Also known as Ear Coning, this ancient healing method promotes natural form and function while stimulating the body's own healing mechanisms. Utilized for over 3,000 years by many major cultures as a right of passage and seasonal cleansing ritual.

Kids: $40 for 30 minutes, Adults: $70 for 60 minutes



Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Addresses negative feelings and emotions which are stored in the body's energy field and often cause imbalance. Sometimes referred to as "emotional acupuncture" because it involves tapping on meridian points, the lines of energy used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. EFT often works when nothing else will!!!

Initial visit: $100 for 90 minutes, Follow-up: $70 for 60 minutes



Energy Healing & Reiki

A holistic approach which addresses physical, mental, and spiritual issues. Promotes wellbeing by restoring balance in and around the body. Essential oils, guided meditation, and breathwork may be used to complement your session.

$40 for 30 minutes, $70 for 60 minutes



Reflexology

Scientific art based on the stimulation of reflex points in the ears, hands, and feet which correspond to all parts of the body. By stretching, massaging, and applying pressure to specific points in these areas, positive physiological changes occur throughout the body.

$40 for 30 minutes, $70 for 60 minutes, or $100 for 90 minutes



Salt Glow

Healing sea salts and moisturizing oils are gently massaged from the neck down and removed with soothing hot towels. Softens the skin, stimulates cellular renewal, restores mineral balance, relieves tension, and revitalizes your entire being!

$80 for 60 minutes



Thai Bodywork

2,000 year old practice which emphasizes the mind-body connection. Increases the flow of energy throughout the body, and is effective in addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Nicknamed "lazy man's yoga" for its combination of assisted stretching and yoga postures.

$40 for 30 minutes, $70 for 60 minutes, or $100 for 90 minutes



Zen Facelift

Experience the restorative effects of the Zen Facelift... a soothing hot towel, relaxing scalp massage, and balancing facial! Acupressure and massage are combined with an essential oil serum designed specifically for your skin type. Available only from Now & Zen!

$40 for 30 minutes



Session prices include sales tax. Home visits may be requested for an additional $20 fee.
