RESTORATIVE THERAPIES is dedicated to wholeness and wellness of the body and mind.

Located in Downtown NEW YORK CITY, a variety of classes and sessions are offered including therapeutic and medical massage, Reiki, shiatsu and aromatherapy. Each session is a blending of the wisdom of eastern traditions, western therapeutic approaches and an energetic mindfulness.

Created by Robert Volinsky, BA, LMT in 1996, this unique mini-holistic center is a place to rejuvenate and learn about the self and the soul. The space is a relaxing, safe and meditative environment, located in the Union Square Area of New York City.

Robert Volinsky is an experienced and New York State licensed massage therapist, since 1996. He has worked in a variety of settings including St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, chiropractic offices, sports clubs and spas.

Robert is a faculty member and teacher in the Eastern Sciences department at the SWEDISH INSTITUTE of Health Sciences in New York City. A Reiki Master Teacher since 1997, and a registered Karuna Reiki ® teacher, he offers ongoing classes in a variety of topic on healing throughout the year. All classes are small and offer personalized attention. He is also a practicing and teaching aromatherapist.

Robert is skilled in many western therapeutic techniques including myofascial techniques, trigger point and medical massage, as well as healing traditions and modalities, including Divine Will, Light Body and Body Mind Integration,

RESTORATIVE THERAPIES and Robert Volinsky, BA, LMT are dedicated to creating ways and a place to find inner peace and stillness within to promote healing and wellness. The body knows how to heal. This wisdom and knowing are the greatest healing forces there are, given the time and the opportunity to express themselves. Whether through the therapeutic/healing (non-sexual) touch of massage, Reiki or other types of work, this theme remains throughout Robert's work.

REIKI CLASSES

Reiki Classes in all levels of Usui Traditional Reiki and Karuna Reiki® are offered on an ongoing basis.

Reiki sooths and heals. It allows an easy and simple way to connect within, to increase well-being, reduce stress and ease emotional and psychological distress.

Essential Oils

Classes in aromatherapy and the use of essential oils for health and wellness are offered ongoing. Contact the office if you would like to be added to our email notification list.
