Four Springs is an historic retreat with a newly renovated lodge, just north of the Napa Valley. Set in pine and oak forested hills near Mount Saint Helena, Four Springs is 85 miles from San Francisco and 100 miles from Sacramento. We offer retreat facilities for groups, workshops and personal retreats, and we offer programs that integrate spirituality and psychology.

Established in 1956 by Elizabeth Boyden Howes, Four Springs is known to spiritual seekers around the world. We host groups, offer our own programs, and host many of the seminars offered by San Francisco's Guild for Psychological Studies.

When hosting groups, individuals and couples, our mission is to offer hospitality in a beautiful, natural setting with simple, comfortable accommodations.

The programs we offer have a focus in personal growth and transformation, and make frequent use of the teachings of Jesus and the writings of Jung.
