Dr. Bronner Handwerger is a licensed, board-certified Naturopathic Doctor and expert in the field of Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine. He is a member of The American Association of Anti-Aging Medicine and a leader in the field of nutrigenomics.

Dr. Handwerger is a patient advocate in the journey toward optimal health. He believes in “first doing no harm”, “the healing power of nature”, and “less is better”.

His unique approach to understanding the underlying cause of his patient’s problems sheds new light for many, helping them to find solutions to their individual health challenges. He is accustomed to managing complex cases.

Dr. Handwerger’s experience is unique. He served as the Chief Medical Officer for the prestigious Blood Type Clinic where he treated over 3000 patients and he is an expert in the use of Natural Non-Toxic Nutraceuticals. He spent many years in Costa Rica studying and documenting the uses of medicinal plants for the treatment of diseases and common health conditions.

Dr. Handwerger provides complete family health care and his preventive approach utilizes state of the art genetic and functional medical testing to reveals risk factors long before they ever become apparent.

Dr. Handwerger received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry a graduate degree in ethnobotany. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at The University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine and faculty member of The Institute For Human Individuality at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Brigette Janson, Certified Colon Hydrotherapist

Brigette is a certified colon hydrotherapist and has been practicing since 1998, when she

started her own personal journey to heal herself with the help of colon hydrotherapy and a raw food diet. In those 8 years Brigette has performed well over 10,000 colonics. She is dedicated and is always striving to create a safe, calm and enlightened experience. One of the benefits Brigette has received by performing those many treatments is the total reward of watching her clients heal while transforming their health. She welcomes first clients and ensures not only a pleasant but an educational experience. Brigette has been working as a colon hydrotherapist at the internationally renowned Optimum Health Institute, a detoxification and educational center in San Diego for 7 years. She comes to Beauty Kliniek with a wealth of knowledge and experience and is excited to be joining the Wellness Center.

Greg Bourque L.Ac. has been in General Practice for the past five years and practicing sports therapy for the past fifteen years. He has successfully treated various sports teams and elite athletes from around the world. Greg utilizes the latest in healing modalities including acupuncture and Chinese herbology. Good health has been more than a practice for Greg but a way of life!

Greg completed his Bachelor of Science degree in his native province of Nova Scotia. He then entered into the healing arts field by completing a 2 year Massage Therapy program at Mount Royal College in Alberta. In 2000, Greg received his Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego.

Educational experiences have included internships at Samahan Health Clinic, PCOM Clinic and UCSD Sports Medicine Center. Currently, Greg is a Sports Massage Instructor at the School of Healing Arts. Greg's 21 years as an elite athlete have cultivated his interest in the treatment of athletic injuries and achieving maximum health potential.

As a practitioner of Oriental Medicine, Greg utilizes the modalities of acupuncture and herbology to treat any imbalances your body may develop. It has always been Greg’s philosophy to integrate the best of both Eastern and Western medicine. Greg has found that various lifestyle changes based on Chinese philosophy can often times correct the pathology in a quick and cost effective manner.

Dr. Gabrielle Traub, homeopathic practitioner, M.Tech (HOM) graduated from a 5-year full time Degree in Homeopathy in South Africa, followed by a year of research and internship. In addition she attended a 2-year part-time course in classical and clinical homeopathy (M.F.HOM) designed as a conversion course for medical doctors. She worked at Hillbrow Hospital, in Johannesburg, as part of her training. She has conducted a double-blind clinical trial on the effect of homeopathic medication on thought interference, nervousness and anxiety.

Gabrielle has practiced and taught homeopathy in London, South Africa and the US, and has studied under world renowned homeopaths such as Rajan Sankaran, George Vithoulkas, Paul Herscu, Jeremy Sherr, David Lilley, Alize Timmerman, Bob Leckridge, and many others.

Gabrielle currently practices from San Diego, California. She lectures anatomy, physiology and pathology at The Homeopathic Academy of Southern California. She also specializes in homeopathy for pregnancy, childbirth and children, women's health issues, behavioral problems, depression and anxiety. Gabrielle is, however, experienced in treating a wide range of patients with various different illnesses, in all stages of life.
