What are Bach Flower Essences?

Bach Flower Essences® are thirty-eight homeopathically prepared flower-based formulas that gently restore emotional well-being. Discovered by Dr. Edward Bach, who observed the link between emotions and illness, the Bach Flower Essences promote harmony and health. Flower Essences are vibrational medicine. The essences restore emotional harmony through the resonance of vibrational energies of the healing flowers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I take the essences with herbs, homeopathy or medication?

Yes. There are no contraindications between essences and other forms of treatment. The essences work on a subtle energetic level and will not antidote homeopathy nor interfere with other therapeutic protocols.

Can someone with an alcohol sensitivity take the Essences?

Yes. For those who are sensitive to alcohol, the Essences may be applied topically, to pulse points on the wrists and temples.

How safe are the Essences?

The Essences interface with our energetic anatomy and affect physiology by releasing reactivity. One cannot overdose on the remedies. The essences are safe during pregnancy, lactation, for infants, children, the elderly, pets — even plants benefit.

Do they affect mental clarity?

The Essences generally enhance mental clarity. One can operate machinery and perform demanding mental tasks while taking the essences. Resolution of emotional concerns often enhances mental function.

How long must I take them?

For a temporary mood or immediate crisis, you may only need one dose. For more chronic conditions, one may need several bottles, but duration of treatment depends upon the individual and one’s goals. Transformations are generally experienced during the course of the initial treatment bottle.

Flower Essence Therapy

Flower Essence Therapy involves creating a specific mixture of essences that resonates with a balanced emotional state in relation to one’s current life challenges. Like peeling an onion, as our current issues precipitate, we begin to release the past and gain a new perspective on our experiences. This therapy is subtle, gentle, effective and addresses emotional concerns relating to the past, present and future. Flower Essence Therapy engages the energetic healing properties of the plants with one’s energetic anatomy. Combining focused listening and observation with her experience and extensive training in Flower Essence Therapy, Charlene prepares a formula specific to each person’s emotional climate. Clients are also taught how to use the essences for themselves as she prepares their formulas. Flower Essence Therapy facilitates the release of constricting emotions, recognition of patterns and the resolve to move beyond our problems. Grief, depression, life transitions, challenging relationships, past trauma, stress management, anxiety and many other emotional challenges are relieved with Flower Essence Therapy.
