Born on Long Island, NY in 1952, Bishop Francis had his first vision at the tender age of 8 involving the college he would later attend. That college was Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY from 1970 through 1974 in which he acquired a B.A. in Fine Arts as an art major.
He was able to become a self-taught guitarist while in his pre-teens and began to play in a local R&B group while still in high school as well as composing and copyrighting music from 1969 onward.
Francis didn't understand that his late mother (Grace) was his first spiritual teacher until just before her passing in 1981. He studied martial arts and meditation while in college (1970 and 1971), but during his senior year was introduced to Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan (1973). He later had a spiritual experience in the woods in 1988, and spiritually received another short form which he calls "White Eagle's Wings" and later modified the yang style short form in the same year. He has taught both with great success to people ranging from ages 14 to 81 with a sole emphasis on the principles of tai chi, Mother Earth, Universe and one's sacred dance in the light. Francis has been known to "dance the chi" using his understanding of the yin-yang interplay on multidimensional levels as he "holds space" for those who need it done for them. Francis does not use his forms of tai chi for self-defense but for spiritual enhancement and "Inner Spiritual Attunement."
Bishop Francis has had the pleasure of lecturing at multiple seminars, made public appearances at various fairs from 1979-2002 and festivals such as the NY Renaissance Festival in Tuxedo NY (1990-92 with Rev. Maria D'Andrea Solomon's Magickal Times); cable TV with telepsychic Morris Fonte (1985-86), satellite TV and numerous guest appearances (24) on WLIB-1190 AM Radio (with "Numbers and You" - Lloyd Strayhorn, 1982-89).Just recently Bishop Francis became the weekly-"Guest Numerologist at Hot 98.7 KISS -FM's Wake Up Club" from Sept 20th thru Nov 7th in 2006 and gave an interactive lecture on "Numerology & Spirituality" on Bergen Community College during their Interfaith Week in Dec. 5th, 2006.
Francis has most recently founded his own FREE quarterly newsletter entitled "Circle of Grace 1" copyright 2001 which is named after his own spiritual center of the same name (Circle of Grace 1 copyright 7-2-1999). As of February 7th, 2009 he created his Spiritual/Metaphysical Institute called- "THE CIRCLE of DIVINE GRACE & REMEMBRANCE" which is a five leveled intensive training program. All three were named in honor of his first spiritual teacher - Mother Grace V. Revels and comes under the aegis & anointing of The Angel of Grace and the Etheric Temple of Grace through Divine Providence.
Bishop Francis has constructed well over 20,000 numerology charts in various formats. He often gives a popular 2-3 part seminar / workshop series titled "The Key to Life is Numerology." Numerology has been defined as the study of numbers and their hidden influence in one's life. Bishop Francis calls numerology "the shorthand of astrology," as each single and compound digit corresponds to an astrological planet or sun sign. He uses the Chaldean system which brings out the most important numerical influences in a person's name by either connecting it to the clients' astrological and other birthdate elements.
