Dory Dzinski is a nationally certified Licensed Professional Counselor (CT) specializing in the areas of grief and loss, divorce, depression, confusion over direction in life, and connecting with life purpose. She has been an Usui and Karuna (TM) Reiki practitioner and trainer since 1998, and has taught at the Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences. She teaches many different classes based in spirituality around the state, including Manchester Community College and Mercy Center. Dory is the Editor/Publisher of The Door Opener magazine, a 22-year old publication focused on spirituality, holistic health, and metaphysics. She also facilitates a grief support group at her church, where she has served as both President and Vice President of her parish council. As an out-of-network provider, Dory will provide receipts for submission to insurance companies.

Dory Dzinski holds a Masters Degree in Pastoral Counseling from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT. She is nationally certified as a counselor through NBCC and maintains a Connecticut license. She is currently on the Behavioral Health Crisis Team for Connecticut, and is a certified trauma debriefer. Dory also holds a Certificate in Spirituality from St. Joseph College and a Certificate in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from St. Francis Academy. She is an Usui and Karuna (TM) Reiki Master Teacher, and holds a three-year certification as a Spiritual Healer from the Institute of Healing Arts and Sciences.

As a traditional mental health therapist, we can engage in meaningful depth "talk therapy," or I can help you with your energy (chakra) system management through various energy healing techniques, as well as educate you on how to maintain your own chakra system through practical lifestyle changes.

Please contact Dory for information regarding sessions, training, workshops, schedules, etc. Private sessions are $110 per hour (insurance receipts available upon request).Reiki training varies according to level taught, ranging from $150 for Usui Reiki Level I to Karuna I and II Practitioner at $350. Workshop costs vary with regard to timing and location.
