Dr. Uzick is a Naturopathic physician who is board certified in Naturopathic Oncology. He is the former professor of Oncology at South West College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe Arizona. Dr. Uzick is the current Vice President of the OncANP (Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians). In addition to his work with cancer patients, Dr. Uzick treats all varieties of chronic degenerative disease with particular emphasis on Bioidentical hormone (Natural hormones) replacement for both men and women, hepatitis C, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic fatigue, and environmental toxicity. With a focus on natural therapies supported by research, he utilizes; therapeutic diet, nutritional supplementation, intravenous therapy, botanical medicine and hydrotherapy.

A graduate of Bastyr University's prestigious Naturopathic medical program. Licensed by the state of Arizona as a primary care physician. He is one of only a handful of physicians in the United States with FABNO (Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology) status. He is the only FABNO in Tucson.

An essential principal of Naturopathic medicine is the "healing power of nature"(Vis Medicatrix Naturae). This concept forms the foundation of my belief and approach to medicine. While I treat a wide variety of chronic degenerative diseases, cancer is a passion and important focus of my practice.

I take an evidence based approach to the treatments I utilize. There are a huge number of "natural treatments" on the Internet and in the case of cancer, "natural cures" are heavily marketed. Unfortunately, the vast majority of these "cures" lack any objective evidence for effectiveness.

On the other hand there are legitimate natural therapies with substantial research demonstrating significant benefits for cancer and many chronic degenerative diseases. My job and expertise is to guide my patients to the most effective and proven natural therapies.
