Laila Beniston has been a student of holistic healing since the 1970’s, practicing yoga, tai chi and meditation. She has had an affinity for vibrational healing and ‘intuitive thought’ since early childhood, especially with animals and nature.

Laila pursued an interest in complementary therapies in earnest when she became ‘allergic to the world’; searching for answers to self-healing. After successfully alleviating her illness she became qualified in several holistic modalities to assist others in facilitating their healing journey. Since starting her practice in 1993 the importance of treating the mind, body and soul as a whole has become evident. Spirituality is a key component to integration.

Practicing led to teaching certificate courses and workshops. Laila believes in encouraging exploration of the many options available, and making informed decisions regarding health and well being.

Her far-reaching knowledge and experience enable her to offer experiential coaching and teachings that is of interest to people of all walks of life.

She continues to travel and study.

Genie in a Briefcase (or suitcase as required!) offers professional coaching, workshops, certificate classes, dance sessions, and getaway weekends to nurture the body and soul. Genie in a Briefcase draws on many years of study in ancient practices from around the world. Experiential education is the focus. Clients are informed of the many options available and are encouraged to make their own decisions regarding their health.

Host a group Past Life Regression session for your friends. In a group setting there is not the accustomed verbal interaction. No need to be concerned about sharing private information.

In a state of health energy flows freely in, through and out of the field in an organized, balanced manner. In a state of dis-ease or injury, the field is obstructed, disordered, disturbed or depleted. Healing is really a move towards order.

Energy healing techniques promote relaxation, healing, wholeness and stress reduction. Reiki is effective in pain management and can be used to prevent disorders, pre/post surgery and to maintain a positive state.

Reiki techniques balance energy on the levels of mind, body, emotions and spirit. When there is balance there is the ability to heal oneself. Reiki can be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies.

Reiki is an extremely effective self-help technique which can be taught to anyone, including children.

In its healing capacity it opens blocked meridians to allow the free flow of energies that have been trapped in our beings and restrict our movement forward. When allowed to flow, all cellular memories that we have been afraid to look at and have held us captive are released.

It also assists us to reconnect to Source.

Treatment involves three passes down the body. During each pass the practitioner will lightly touch the client at specific points on their body. These points, when put together, will trace out forms of sacred geometry.

What may you feel with this treatment? Some experience deep relaxation, an increase in focus and clarity, motivation, improved concentration, a sense of balance and more vivid dreams. You may find answers to your questions arrive in these dreams or memory flashbacks. You may feel more in the flow, recognizing more synchronicity.

Three procedures:

1. This first pass clears blockages from the meridians by opening and clearing the spin points and slowing them to spin.

2. This pass connects the left and right sides of the body. It helps to balance and centre the masculine and feminine intellect and initiative.

3. This pass anchors the Source energy.
