Chinese New Year Program - Karen Carnabucci

Ancestors, Happiness, Health & Prosperity

In many cultures -- including many Asian countries -- ancestors are honored and revered. In the United States, we might not even know the names of our grandparents. Feeling disconnected from our ancestors and our larger family system has implications for both our physical and emotional health.

Karen Carnabucci, MSS, LCSW, TEP, will introduce the philosophy of Systemic Constellation Work, an unconventional method of healing which views the family system as an important component of our heath and ability to function in the world. Her presentation is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, at "Roots and Legends" Natural Medicine Clinic, 3209 Washington Ave.

Carnabucci is a psychotherapist, coach and trainer who has been studying and integrating this experiential method into her private practice at Lake House Health and Learning Center. She most recently completed a one-year advanced training program at the Hellinger Center of D.C. with Heinz Stark, a leading international trainer of this method, and will present a workshop on the subject at the national conference of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy in

April 2010 in Philadelphia.

There is no charge for the program, although a free will donation will be accepted. For more information or to register, call Roots and Legends at (262) 939-0062

The Midwests Most Unique Wellness Store

Said to be the most "unique" Natural Medicine Clinic and wellness store in the Midwest, we are proud to have been named as one of the top 100 places to visit in Wisconsin. We are not a health food store but a natural medicine dispensary. Our compounds and teas are dispensed only by national and state licensed practitioners, meaning that our formulas, compounds, tinctures, tonics, elixirs are therefore stronger, faster-working and more specific in nature than the over-the-counter products found in the typical health food store. We strive to carry only organic, fair trade items with herbs grown through biodynamic methods. Our combined backgrounds are in Chinese medicine, Ayervedic, Homeopathic and Anthroposophic medicines and holistic skin care and repair. We work with the world's leading natural medicine compounders using only pharmceutical and hospital-grade herbs. Come visit us! You may never be the same.
