Laura Blackley: Singer, songwriter, guitar player and front person of the Laura Blackley Band, she was born in the tiny farming and fishing hamlet of Warsaw, VA, near not much of anything at all except maybe the Chesapeake Bay. Blackley began writing songs and stories at age 5 or 6, as best she can remember. She began playing guitar and singing in her twenties, with no formal music training. It wasn't long after this
