Philosophy and Comments

In her practice, Mary Ann determines where disharmonies are in the body and uses that information to balance Yin and Yang. The objective is to create balance not only within the body but between the body and nature.

Mary Ann believes that our bodies provide us with almost all we need to maintain our health and well-being, and that health springs from within. She believes that the patient must be an active participant in achieving and maintaining their own physical, mental and spiritual health, and that she is there to help guide that process through use of acupunture, herbs, excercise and diet.

Mary Ann continues to develop her skills, including the study of herbs, women's health, infertility, and Integrative Mandala Acupuncture, a method developed by Sharon Weizenbaum of the White Pine Healing Arts school and clinic in Amherst, Mass.
