Description
I am now in my 15th year of massage and body work. I very much enjoy my work and tend to lean more toward the therapeutic modalities of massage therapy. I follow my intuition, and each session that a client receives is different. There are certain modalities that I usually use in each session. Those modalities are advanced lymphatic drainage therapy, craniosacral therapy and advanced brain and neurovascular techniques, visceral manipulation, myofascial release therapy and Reiki. Some sessions may incorporate shamanic work, toning and crystal bowls, while another session may use essences and deep tissue massage. I find that using the different modalities in a session is very beneficial in shifting a person's energy on all levels, affecting the mind, body, sould and spirit.
Profile and Credentials
LMT with initial training at the Louisville Massage Institute, where I later taught as well. I have been taking classes through the Upledger Institute, John Barnes, St. John's, and other organizations since that time. I am trained in Swedish, Sports and Deep Tissue massage, Acupressure, Jin Shin Do, Reflexology, Craniosacral Therapy, Advanced Brain and Neurovascular Techniques, Visceral Manipulation, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release Therapy, Advanced Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, Reiki Master, Pranic Healing, Essences, Crystal Healing, Raindrop therapy, Radiant Touch, Shamanic Work, Toning, Quantum Touch and some other modalities and techniques as well.
Philosophy and Comments
My understanding and approach towards the body is one that is best served when viewing the body in its totality--mind, body, soul and spirit. I work with all four of these in mind, because my desire for each client is to bring that person to a better state of wellness and wholeness---to bring people to a new state of awareness, to a place of heart-centeredness.
Work Hours and Fee Schedule
I normally work Monday through Friday 9am until 7pm. I work Saturdays as well from 9am until 5pm if I am available.
I charge $75 for an hour
$110 for an hour and a half
$140 for two hours
I will work with a person's budget if that is of concern. Also, I give a $10 discount per hour when someone returns within 3 weeks of their previous visit.
