The New England Dreamwork Institute
The New England Dreamwork Institute provides a multi-level certificate training program for beginners to professional dreamworkers. Our goal is to provide curriculums oriented towards Jungian based dreamwork while exploring the vast variety of other forms of dreamwork and how we can integrate them into our lives. Students will be exploring their own dreams while learning how to integrate that learning into working dreams with others in a group setting.

Weekend intensives are held three times a year in western Massachusetts. The curriculum includes the intensive weekends plus internet practicums, and home study. A list of participating faculty can be viewed on our website at: www.dragon-heart.com

We provide a one year introductory program for those interested in just learning more about dreams and dreamwork. We then offer a two-year certificate program for a deeper study of dreamwork and then there is an advanced three year certificate program for an advanced study of dreams and dreamwork.

All programs can provide CEU credits to those interested in continuing education credits.

The Nuat Thai Massage Center
Thai Massage is approached with the principle of warm hands and warm hearts. The shop provides the following services: Traditional Thai Massage, Thai Massage with Hot packs, Thai Herbal Steam, Swedish (Trigger Points & Deep Tissue), Stone Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Perfect combination of Thai & Swedish or Stone Massage, Thai reflexology.

What is Thai Massage ?

Unlike the scooping and continuous strokes of Western massage, The Thai method uses point pressure, muscle stretching, and compression, performed in a rhythmic movement of gentle rocking. In Thai massage, not only the hands are used to free tension from the recipients body, but the therapist’s feet, forearms, knees, and elbows as well. The work is done fully clothed and no oils are required. Thai massage is performed on a floor mat, allowing full use of the therapist’s body. Thai medical massage can move deeper into the mechanical functions of the body, working with deep muscle tension and joint mobility as well as nerve, muscle and ligament balancing. Thai massage improves flexibility, reduces tension, stimulates internal organs, and balances the body’s energy system. Thai massage can be particularly helpful in relieving: Headaches, migraines, arthritis, whiplash pain, paralysis, numbness, sciatica, scoliosis, chronic fatigue, lupus, and other conditions.

What is Swedish Massage?

Swedish massage is now known as “traditional” massage. In the 1820s a Swedish doctor, Dr. Per Henrik Ling, developed the first modern method of massage through his study of physiology, gymnastics, and the massage techniques borrowed China, Egypt, Greece, and Rome. Swedish massage includes long gliding strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, and shaking motions. It is effective for most ailments, because massaging the skin, the body’s largest organ, sets up a chain reaction that produces a positive effect on all layers and systems of the body. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, and promotes health and well-being, Rated Medium .
