Mystical Musical Open Practice Time with ... Karttikeya.
Karttikeya will perform live, original compositions and improvisations on the rare and mystical Halo and Hang instruments as well as keyboard, drums and other tuned percussion. He'll intersperse inspired readings, some discussion and maybe some chants. This is an open, un-led practice time. You are invited to immerse yourself in the sound-space created in whichever way you desire. You can sit and meditate, watch and listen, do your own yoga practice, read or study, sleep, dance, etc.

Yin Yoga with 8 Crystal Singing Bowls with Jeannine Dietz.
Relaxing, renewing and rejuvenating your body, mind and spirit. In this fast-paced world we live in, we can get so caught up in the things we have to do; it’s easy to forget how important it is to take time to take care of you. In this workshop we will use the ancient Healing Arts of Yin Yoga, Sound Healing, and Meditation to relieve ourselves of stress, trauma, and old emotions that can bog us down. We will use the practice of Yin Yoga to open the intricate webbing of connective tissue that connects our muscles and holds them together from head to toe; a place where stress and tension can build up. Yin Yoga opens up these deep, dense, rarely touched areas, releasing tension, and old stored emotions. In this practice we will be holding deep, relaxing and opening postures for 3-5 minutes at the same time absorbing the healing, powerful vibrations of the Crystal Singing Bowls. - Time: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Drum Circle with Todd Lewis .
Drums have been and are part of every culture known to man around the world. It has been used for celebrations, rituals and communications linking villages and hamlets with news of the day, in peacetime and war.
In peace it replicates the beat of our heart, the rhythm of our steps and marks the passing of time. The very vibrations of our being are rhythmic as is our breath. Drumming tunes us into what is essential…our selves. In a drum circle we share ourselves with drum, shaker, rattle, bell, etc. to create music.
We will use the African drum (called a djembe), with Native American, and Cuban drums in prescribed rhythms. We will also create our own unique rhythms as well as call and response rhythms.
Whether you are 6 or 106 drumming is the common thread. Join us for an exhilarating evening, won’t you? Let your freak flag fly!
