I started ICSC nearly a decade ago because I wanted to help others. Because of my basic premise, I am able to do so in many ways. I am committed to caring for the environment by utilizing earth friendly, cruelty free cleaning methods & products. Far too many chemicals are being dumped into our waterways and the soil, thusly poisoning the environment. With the alarming number of people being diagnosed with autoimmune diseases, environmental sensitivities, skin conditions & other illnesses, it just makes sense to use earth friendly methods of cleaning. Great care is taken for the health & well being of my self, my clients as well as the environment. It is my hope that other people will join in utilizing the practice of using natural methods of cleaning. I do not use products that are made from non-renewable sources, such as petrochemicals, which are toxic. I utilize botanically based products and other ingredients that are naturally based renewable sources. My main consideration is on maintaining the well-being of children. Pound for pound, children - especially babies - breathe more air, because they breathe at much higher rate of frequency, and absorb more things through their skin, as they spend more time doing tactile activities than most adults. The main inlets for toxins into the body are through the skin & lungs. Children are at a much higher risk for developing environmental illnesses, and the long term effects are absolutely devistating.
