As a coach and therapist, I help people access their internal and external resources to DESIGN YOUR MAGNIFICENT LIFE. I can show you how to let go of "emotional clutter" and get out of your own way so that you can move forward in less than one week. Liz Mitten Ryan
Liz Mitten Ryan and a group of very special horses, the “Edition Warm bloods” live on Gateway 2 Ranch in the Nicola Valley of British Columbia, Canada. This particular herd (presently numbering thirteen) has the luxury of living as a wild herd on 320 acres of grassland, forest, meadows and lakes. They each have their immediate family members, and together are descended from the original four mares, all half sisters from the same sire. Unlike a wild herd however, when the Edition Warm bloods return to their barn, they are afforded the benefit of a loving supportive interface with humans. Above all they are respected as important spiritual beings of immense value with much to contribute to the evolution of life.

Over the last year these horses and their owner Liz Mitten Ryan have co-written two inspirational books; manuscripts of essential information for those who love horses and gifts of the earth in general.

One with the Herd, the first book, tells their story and explains the setting of their unusual circumstance, and book two, The Truth According to Horses is a communication of their deepest understanding of life. (Both books are filled with stunning photographs and art.

Loni Sander/Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning
Bay Star EquiCenter is a place to Explore, Discover and Learn about yourself and others in a friendly, relaxed country setting. After discussing your goals we will design an activity to be completed using a horse or horses. Horses are able to reflect our true emotions back to us thereby creating metaphors which can assist in greater self understanding and enlightenment. The experience will be yours to define and interpret as you wish. Our staff will be guiding you but not determining the outcome. Because there is no riding and all activities are done on the ground, it is a safe, fun environment to explore what our gentle giants have to offer. We are EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) certified. Whether you want to just have some fun with friends or seriously explore an issue we can accommodate you. If you are in therapy and would like to include your therapist in a session we can do that. We also have a mental health specialist on staff as well. Please visit our website for a complete listing of our services and don't forget to visit the testimonial page to see what others said about their experience! Please call with questions-we would love to hear from you Loni and MaryJean
