Experiencing the Sacred with Spiritual Travel

Why should we travel to gain a spiritual experience? Because certain locales around the world hold memory from experiences we have had. By journeying to specific locations we re-capture Soul memory (Akashic Records) and are then able to heal, release personal limitation and eventually enlighten. Every continent has sacred places to explore. Even in our own American backyard, there are holy places of Indian ancestors dotted all through the states. When we travel to locations like Peru, Bali, Nepal, Tibet, and India where many of us have had past lives we reconnect to the past life memory. Sometimes all we need to do is walk the land, the actual steps taken become a déjà vu and we begin to remember the past. Traveling takes us out of our familiar surroundings. This is often necessary for change to occur and for us to grow spiritually and emotionally. As we remember the past it is as if we are dredging up unresolved patterns (emotional memory) to heal and complete. In locales such as India, Nepal and Tibet - where ancient scriptures were often written we can re-member our true divine self and heal karmic patterns that are often preventing us from moving forward today.

When you are pregnant, your body is undergoing more changes in the first trimester than in any other time during your pregnancy. Hormones are rushing through your system. You may be experiencing morning sickness and breast tenderness, among other changes. As pregnancy progresses and your body changes and grows to accommodate the developing fetus, other problems you may notice are neck pain, lower back pain, sacroiliac pain, carpel tunnel syndrome and numbness in the hands. Study of the Alexander Technique can help with all of these changes. You will learn to work with your body's structure, function and your new size to allow the greatest amount of freedom of movement. By un-doing muscular tension and contraction, you can move freely with easy joints and supported balance. You will learn how to direct yourself out of contracted or collapsed postural states into more expansive ones that will give you a feeling of less effort and more ease. By the third trimester, walking, sleeping, sitting and bending can become uncomfortable. By learning to use the core spinal support of the body and to let the innate postural responses work for you, you can be more comfortable in all positions.

Emotions [from the Latin “emovere”, to move, as in motive] are a uniquely human phenomenon. No other being has the range of emotions that humans have. The love of angelic beings is a divine state of being; not a feeling as we understand it. Human emotions have attachment, behaviors, and residues. They can be expressed, suppressed, repressed, projected, or shared. They provide us with the energy to fulfill our purpose in the material world: to meet people, to have the will to succeed and to form bonds with others. Though expressed through ego, they allow the ego to be transcended. Babies have nowhere near the range and depth of emotions they will have in the few short years of infancy. We may sense the wisdom they have brought, and the spiritual connection that they do not seem to lose, as earlier generations did; but emotions are another matter altogether. Parents can help children to fulfill their purpose for a new earth by ensuring that their kids’ emotions develop healthily. To do this, we can follow the KEY model: Know how emotions develop, Express emotions appropriately, and Yoke emotions to fulfill our purpose.
