The study of sound includes knowledge of sound waves, tones, overtones and harmonics. Science has discovered that sound waves can pass through objects such as air, metal and water. With our bodies made up of more than 75% water, humans become a wonderful conduit through which sound can travel and by doing so, these waves can be used to affect the many systems of the physical body.
We can use this knowledge of sound passing through objects and apply them to the use of sound on our own bodies. Because our bodies are solid, sound waves can pass through the skin, organs, tissues - right down to the very cells of our bodies. Sounds can also be used to enhance the nutrition of food and water and be used to remove negative and stagnant energy in a room.There have been some remarkable studies on how various cells, especially cancer cells, respond to sound waves. Biofeedback and Beyond: Hi Tech and Alternative Healing

Over a period of years, many studies (see references below) indicate that biofeedback may be of benefit when used for health problems including stress reduction, headaches, anxiety, chronically taut muscles from accidents or sports injuries, high blood pressure, and chronic pain. EEG brainwave biofeedback appears to have demonstrates benefit for ADD/ADHD (see article below by neurofeedback pioneer Dr. Joel Lubar), substance abuse, mild brain injury, depression/mood states and cognition enhancement. There has been success in the use of biofeedback for incontinence and in Vulvodynia.
Studies involving larger populations and longer follow-up are necessary; some studies are currently in progress. Biofeedback often is successful in conjunction with traditional medical treatment.
Biofeedback/brain wave training protocols have also been introduced that show potential efficacy in enhancing performance in sports, productivity and focus in business/corporate/industrial, university/school and performing arts environments.

Writing an ezine (a newsletter delivered by email) can be one of the key methods of marketing your healing business that will propel it towards success. There are many reasons why this is the case, but the most significant one is that, the more people who know about your services, the more clients you will have. A newsletter allows you to continually add potential clients to your database, as well
as remind them about your services and products on a regular basis.
Often healing professionals are resistant to the idea of writing an ezine. Their initial reaction is something like; "That's a lot of work," or "I don't have enough to say," or "I don't write well."
Yes, it can take a fair chunk of time to write an ezine, but marketing a healing business does take time and energy regardless of the methods you use.
As far as fears of not knowing what to write about are concerned, if you know your target market well and pay attention to what their needs and desires are, you shouldn't have any difficulty coming up with ideas.
Finally, if you have difficulty with writing, get help. Hire an editor, or solicit help from someone who writes well.
