Philosophy and Comments
Bioffedback & Life Coaching: "I believe in the concept of wellness, which involves a conscious commitment to growth and development in all areas. And I truly believe that life's challenges - triggers, stressors and problems - offer us enormous opportunities for making changes that allow that growth and improvement. We make choices every day, and are responsible for the results of those choices. I encourage people to be in charge of their own healing. Biofeedback allows me the chance to help people get in touch with what is going on within them, intellectually, emotionally and physically. My clients report living healthier and more balanced lives."
Wordsmith & Events Coordination: "I have been writing as long as I can remember. I've also been organizing my world and the world around me since I was a child. Now, I love to write and organize for a living!"
Work Hours and Fee Schedule
Biofeedback and Life Coaching: Hours are flexible, as the office is in my home. Those with allergies to cats may need to take allergy medicine, as three cats live here, though they are kept out of the biofeedback office. Fee - sessions are "50-minute hours" and the standard fee is $75.00 per session. Clients are asked to purchase a set of relaxation tapes (cassette) for their home practice, at a one-time cost of $45.00. Payment is expected at the time of service. If your insurance company covers biofeedback, forms will be provided on request so you can be reimbursed.
Life Coaching is often done by email or phone, and fees are established at the time of contact.
Wordsmith & Events Coordination: Fees determined by project complexity.
Certified Biofeedback Therapist, BCIA Sr. Fellow

Biofeedback enables people to manage stress and pain by understanding their biological functions, as well as the role of body/mind/spirit. Twenty years experience working with migraines and other headaches, hypertension, sleep disorders, anxiety and stress.
Biofeedback is a painless, non-invasive way of learning more about ourselves, and learning new ways to manage stress and pain. It is a useful technique for those on a journey of growth and development, using guided imagery and relaxation techniques, as well.

The key to successfully managing stress is not to elimiate it, but to learn how to better manage your responses to stressful situations. The program helps you to develop awareness about the connection between emotional and physical tension, and may utilize coping techniques, biofeedback, time management, muscle relaxation, deep breathing, simple techniques to relax the mind and body and quick stress stoppers.
Life Coach
Life coaching is usually done without biofeedback and involves gentle guidance to help individuals become "unstuck" in their lives. We'll work together to help you better understand yourself: your true passions, priorities, desires, beliefs, values and talents. Life coaching assists you to overcome self-imposed obstacles, get unstuck and move on with your life, fulfilling your own estalished goals.
Wordsmith & Events Coordinator
I have a strong background in writing, editing and proofreading for a number of organizations, and my work has included successful grant proposals, newsletters and reports. I also work with designers to see a publication through the production stages.
I have been coordinating special events for more that 20 years, including walking and house tours, festivals, footraces and conferences and meetings. My interest now lies more with conferences and meetings, but I do occasionally consult on events of a more "fun" nature such as festivals.
