She holds a Master's degree in Therapeutic Counseling (M.T.C.), and is a clinical member of the Canadian Association For Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT).

The experience of her own personal healing journey makes her an especially sensitive and empathic therapist.

Ursula has completed the Marion Woodman Foundation Leadership Training Program and served on the Marion Woodman Foundation teaching faculty in 2005. Currently, she serves as adjunct faculty at The Living Institute, Toronto. She also facilitates Intensives and Retreats, working with dreams, movement, voice, art and sound. Retreats or on-going courses are wonderful ways to combine learning with healing.

Ursula is committed to continued professional and personal development.

Philosophy and Comments

Encoded in the language of the soul (imagery), your dreams hold key directions to healing and wholeness. Dream work and Psychotherapy can help you to know and care for yourself better by bringing unconscious values and beliefs into consciousness. Becoming aware of who you really are and what you really feel in the presence of a knowledgable therapist can open new paths for transforming self defeating patterns from your past, and strengthening hope for your future. With the guidance of your therapist, you will embark on a journey of supporting your true capacity for meaningful living and relating.

As the poet David Whyte says: "Life must be more than waking every morning to a series of tasks; it is important to find thresholds of possibility, redemption, emancipation and celebration in everyday life."

Ursula has been working in private practice for nearly 20 years. Each client with their own unique story is received in the safety and confidentiality of a gentle and allowing atmosphere. The pace and length of a therapy is based on the client's individual needs and the therapist's professional assessment.
