Description

The Center for Peace is a non-profit church organization located on 17 acres in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. The Center provides personal growth opportunities through Ceremonies of Awakening such as vision quests, transformational dances, and sweat lodges. Workshops are offered through the year on Huna, Shamanic Healing. Regular activities include drumming, sweat lodges, chanting ... We have a very active children's program. Ministers and counselors provide spiritual counseling, soul retrieval, and past life work. Members of our group travel internationally supporting peace initiatives.

Philosophy and Comments

The Center for Peace, a holistic spiritual teaching and healing center, is founded on a vision of inner peace available to all people. In our experience inner peace is found in our awareness of the presence of the Creator [the Spirit Of Life In All Things].

Very aware of the power of personal belief systems, the Center for Peace encourages people to evaluate their beliefs as to whether they limit them or free them in their very personal spiritual journey.

Work Hours and Fee Schedule

Almost all of the activities at the Center for Peace are on a donation basis. Workshops typically have a modest charge associated with them and some of the multiple day events require that participants share in the expenses.

There is never a charge for ceremony.
