Original watercolor paintings by Maine Coast artist DJ Eastwood. She has studied with many famous watercolor artist from all over the United States. Her love of painting and color show in all of her paintings.

Member of Maine Arts Commission, National Museum of Women in the Arts, National Watercolor Society, New England Watercolor Society, American Watercolor Society, Made in Maine Assoc, and Maine Coast Artists Assoc.

Philosophy and Comments

"For Art to work, it must be familiar, yet suprising at the same time". (Quoted by Joey Kramer, drummer for the band Aerosmith) For me painting is a place that I go to relax and seperate myself from all earthly concerns. I remove myself to "a sanctuary to which I can retreat at any time and be myself".
