Cynthia graduated from the Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle and has provided massage professionally since 1987. She has studied numerous techniques and approaches to healing and energy work over the years, and incorporates EFT and other meridian therapies into her sessions for maximum relaxation and healing on all levels. Stress reduction and achieving equanimity & balance are essential components of her practice.

Cynthia graduated from the Northwest School of Animal Massage in 2003 and greatly enjoys working with horses and their riders to enhance and support their their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and balance with massage, EFT, acupressure and energy work.

Cynthia began using and studying EFT in September, 2004. She has immersed herself in learning the basic and advanced material available created and offered by EFT's founder, Gary Craig.

Cynthia furthered her studies of EFT and NLP in 2006 with Dr. Alex Lees of Vancouver, BC, attending his levels One through Three courses and his EFT and NLP Art of Delivery course in January of 2005. She has since studied with and collaborates with EFT Master Andy Bryce of Vancouver, BC, hosting and assisting with his 2 day workshop, The Art of Receiving, in Friday Harbor,Washington.

Island Calm is an attitude and a philosophy that embraces the essence of relaxation, ease, balance, and healthy choices, enhancing one's quality of life. Stress is proven to be the number one cause of illness and disease in our world today. Stress is caused by incorrect beliefs or choices. Cynthia believes that we can each create for ourselves a balanced, wholesome, and sustainable lifestyle by examining our beliefs and by making needed changes in our habits and patterns that do not serve or sustain health and well being.

Cynthia practices EFT in conjunction with massage, or on it's own. She has personally experienced remarkable success with EFT in her own life, and specializes in utilizing and teaching EFT to her clients and to groups. She knows it is possible to experience deep, rapid, and lasting change in all areas of one's life. Cynthia is deeply inspired to share this life changing tool with as many people as possible. It has greatly enhanced her life, and given her hope for a brighter, healthier and more joyous future for all.
